The SideWinder is tested to hold over 15,000 pounds and is rated for a 7,500-pound working load limit. Used in pairs or a system of four, the Sidewinders can stabilize and lift a vehicle on all fours, on the side, or on a roof. Powered by a hand-operated Speedy Wrench (included), 2,500 pounds of force can be generated. The drive receptacle accepts a ½” socket, so other drive devices can be used to create maximum force lift capabilities. A positive locking thread device, the Sidewinder is very effective and can be used in conjunction with the JYD Rescue Struts for optimal lifts. Weighing just 19 pounds, each SideWinder provides eight inches (22 cm) of lift, enough space for safe and effective patient removal. The Sidewinder will be a welcome device to any rescuer’s arsenal.
